About Me

I am pursuing a Ph.D in Economics from University of Houston. My current research interest is in monetary policy and I have worked previously on finance, urban economics and migration. I was previously teaching at Symbiosis School of Economics where I taught courses on statistics and econometrics. I have also worked as a Programme Officer at Public Affairs Centre where my work involved enabling citizens to monitor public projects; specifically construction of PMGSY roads and Swacch Bharat Mission.

I am a malayalee belonging to Kozhikode in Kerala. Over the last 5 years, I have discovered the joy of cycling. I cycled solo from Delhi to Aligarh and back (300+kms), which is probably the best thing I did in 2020. I also aspire to be a published fiction author at some point in my life and have performed stand-up comedy at various college events.
